Welcome to the cartoon studio known for its inventive original characters, passionately crafted worlds, innovative storytelling… and of course, the mischievous Bendy.
Who is Bendy?
Bendy® is the beloved ‘little-devil-of-a-cartoon-star’ from the 1930’s and 40’s. Friendly yet mischievous, Bendy can usually get the best of anyone, with the exception of his friends Boris the Wolf and Alice Angel. His popular short films entertained a generation before sinking into the inky depths of relative obscurity for many years. Today he is once again a global phenomenon. Joey would be proud.
Who was Joey Drew?
Joey Drew was the founder of the studio and the man who created Bendy. In 1929 with the help of his business partner, Henry Stein, he created Bendy’s first short “Little Devil Darlin” as an early ‘talkie’ cartoon. As his entertainment legacy grew over the years Joey’s optimism and pioneering spirit never wavered. Starting with just a pencil and a dream he created this studio.
